Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer calls to assist with flight bookings, rescheduling, cancellations, and ticket modifications.
  • Provide accurate information about Southwest Airlines' policies, flight schedules, fare options, and travel guidelines.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to luggage, delayed flights, refunds, and other travel-related concerns.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Guide customers through Southwest’s loyalty program, helping with points, rewards, and upgrade requests.
  • Follow established procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and security.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
  • Work collaboratively with other customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
  • A quiet home office environment, reliable internet connection, and computer proficiency are essential.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of travelers.
